More than likely, you felt some tightness in one or more of those areas. Did the tension ease up simply by paying attention? When you call your attention to your physical state, it’s a doorway into a quick practice of self-care. This is something you can easily do throughout your day: pause to bring awareness to areas of tension, then gently allow relaxation as you simply hold your attention there for a while, and feel your energy re-set and your emotions settle. Breathe. Ahhh.

Do you have a self-care practice that brings you back to your calm, clear center? If so, are you doing it every day?

Spiritual teacher Thomas Hübl’s words are a guiding light:

“Our spiritual practice is more important than ever. Life is asking us now to stay present, to maintain our network of relationships, and not to be reactive. Reactivity is acting before feeling, whereas responding is action informed by feeling. We are challenged to be truly ‘response-able’ and to be a witness who can give space. When we care for those around us in this sense, we create a field of love.”

I’m writing today to encourage you to please make time for YOU as we navigate this great, and often uncomfortable awakening. Big energies are afoot, and it’s easy to react and get swept away in emotions or the weight of the challenges that face our world.

Because you’re reading this, you understand the importance of being in alignment and listening to your inner wisdom. It’s hard to hear your intuition when you’re buried under your fears or braced in reaction.

Please remember that your body is your partner and guide. There’s no need to suppress your emotions, but rather, allow them to move through.
