Have you ever had a “gut reaction?” Or known who is calling before you see the caller ID? Or made a choice based on intuition rather than rational thinking? If so, you had the help of Claire.
Claire is French for clear, and she boldly takes the lead in words like clairvoyant – which means “clear seeing.”
Claire is part of you – the clear, open aspect that wants to be of service to you.
The definition of the clairvoyant’s powers, as given by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, is: Clairvoyance; “the power or faculty of discerning objects not present to the senses; ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception.”
Maybe you’ve relegated the word clairvoyant to the underworld of spooky fortune tellers. Perhaps your meaning of a clairvoyant is that of someone who sees grim things in someone’s future.
It’s time to lay that unfortunate stereotype to rest, and welcome Claire back. Invite her to tea. She’s that friend who always has enlightening information to share.
You learned about the five senses in school: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch. These are the tangible ways you experience and navigate your world.
Energy and Clairvoyant Abilities
Along with these impressive abilities, you have another set of senses that allow you to perceive life beyond the five senses. You have extra-sensory perception. Yes. You do!
The thing is, you may have learned to tune it out, as I did for many years. You may not even know how to tell if you are clairvoyant.
Maybe like me, you felt bombarded by the world around you – not just with sights and sounds and other sensory activity, but the invisible barrage of extra sensory input too. You picked up on other people’s inner worlds, even if they looked placid on the outside. You knew stuff about them. Going to the mall or a concert was like energetic bumper cars.
Maybe you put up an unconscious shield to get through your day.
Over time your extrasensory ability gradually clouded over as a self-protective mechanism. But it’s still there, as clear as the day you came into the world. Claire has been waiting to connect with you.
You’re here because you want to know more about your extra-sensory or clairvoyant abilities. You’re ready to re-awaken them.
Well, you’re in the right place! The simple fact that you’re reading this helps you dust off and re-activate your hidden abilities. A little knowledge goes a long way to bringing your Claires back online.
Clairvoyant and Other Senses: Meet Claire’s 7 Faces
You are a sensitive receiver of information – like an antenna in an atmosphere of radio waves. There’s an infinite amount of extra-sensory information at your fingertips! All you have to do is gently open up, tune in, and receive.
Clairsentient (clear sensing) – body sensations such as tingling, warmth, cold, pressure, or pulsing
Clairaudient (clear hearing) – words, sounds, music, lyrics, or phrases
Clairvoyant (clear sight) – sights, colors, textures, images, moving scenes, or objects
Clairalient (clear scent) – scents, odors, or smells
Clairgustance (clear taste) – tastes such as bitter, sweet, or metallic
Clairempathy (clear emotions) – emotions, feelings such as anger, love, joy, sadness, or peace
Claircognizance (clear knowing) – inner knowing, where it just appears in your consciousness
Clairvoyant and clairaudient powers are probably the two you have heard of most often. But there’s so much more to the extra-sensory world!
We all have the gift of at least one of these abilities – often more than one. Which one(s) do you resonate with most?
Next time Claire passes through you, welcome her. Listen. Smell. Feel. Pay attention. Just by tuning in you grow your abilities, and Claire delights in feeding you information.
Claire is subtle, but she is persistent.
Clairvoyant People Are All Around Us
When I first started learning about intuition, my antenna was rusty. I wasn’t sure if the intuitive information I was getting was just my imagination, or if I had clairvoyant “symptoms” – in other words, Claire was paying me a visit.
But over time, with repeated, positive feedback from my clients, I learned to trust the information that came to me.
Now I easily and naturally turn to my intuition. Claire is my new best friend.
She gives me accurate, targeted information that helps me and my clients. The information I get is helpful, eye-opening, sometimes surprising, and always supportive of my clients’ highest good. I couldn’t do what I do without Claire.
Of course, I’m personifying this ability that you and I have. Claire is really you – and me. It is the multi-faceted ability to perceive beyond the everyday world of the five senses.
Like being left or right-handed, some people find that they have a dominant extra-sensory ability. It’s their go-to method of receiving information.
Other people are ambidextrous and move easily around the spectrum of abilities. There’s no right or wrong way.
If you want to dig into your clairvoyant abilities, just keep paying attention. Stillness helps. Take time to pause, ask to be shown, and allow that wisp of an image or sound or sensation to come into clearer view. Trust it. Thank it. Use the information as needed.
It’s time to reclaim your divinely-given ability, put it to use for yourself and the people in your life.
Your turn. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being least, 10 being most) how much do you rely on your extra-sensory perception in daily life? I’d love to hear about it, or any questions or comments, in the comment section below.
Between 6-8 for me, I too have suppressed my abilities because in my past it brought fear, now that I’m older I feel I’m ready to pursue my gifts to better myself and those I love. You’re words have touched my heart and bring me much joy to know that I am not alone in my quest to find my true purpose. I aim each day for a 10 but due to my suppression I know that I have much more ability than what I’m experiencing. I know that I have several of these gifts and that I will be able to tap into them in the near future. I feel it with every fiber of my soul. Thank you and god bless you and your work😊
